Trade Wind was engaged to address the historical subsurface coal wash and asbestos contamination linked to landfill material. A wide scale remediation strategy was adopted to install a multi-layer protective cap to prevent oxygen reaching the combustible coal wash.

The project also involved the construction of structural gabion walls and extensive stormwater upgrades to deliver a new open space area for Cringila Public School.
