The purpose of these works is to refurbish selected areas of the SC Hall block in order to revitalise the facility and improve overall functionality. A key focus of the project is to enhance ventilation within the main hall space, as well as the change rooms and bathrooms located on both the ground floor and the first floor, ensuring a more comfortable and usable environment for occupants.

Works will include the preparation, polishing, and line marking of the hall floor to restore its surface quality and clearly define sporting boundaries. These improvements will enhance the durability, safety, and usability of the playing surface for a range of indoor activities.

Additionally, the project will provide a pivoting swingarm basketball structure complete with all associated basketball components, including the backboard, hoop, and net. This installation will support sporting activities within the hall and improve the facility’s functionality for basketball and other recreational uses.
